My Dad (now known as Papa) came in town May 29th - June 4th! It had been almost a year exactly since his last visit to Kentucky, and oh how things have changed in just one year! His last visit was busy busy...making a trip to the Kentucky Derby, Buffalo Trace Bourbon distillery, Elk Creek Winery, Louisville Slugger museum and several dinners out. This time around, we mostly just hung out around the house and spent time with the little man. That is why Papa came to visit after all! It was so nice to see my Dad, and I am so happy that he was able to meet Hudson. I think Papa may like Hudson just a little bit ;)
We had a great time just visiting and talking, and of course oohing and ahhing over little man. Hudson got in lots of cuddles with Papa while he was here too! We also got out a couple times to the mall, dinner and even a little time on the boat! We definitely wish Papa lived a little closer so we could see him more often, but it just makes our visits that much more special! Hopefully we can take Hudson on a trip to Arizona in January or February to see his Papa and his Gigi (great grandma)! Thanks for coming to visit Dad! We love you!
