May:
At the beginning of May, my Dad came for a visit from Arizona to see our house for the first time and to spend some time with us. It's always fun when we have guests come in town because we get to act like tourists and visit places that we don't normally think to explore here in Kentucky. We went to the Louisville Slugger Museum, took a hard hat tour at the Buffalo Trace bourbon distillery, visited the largest winery in Kentucky and ventured out to Churchill Downs for the 137th running of the Kentucky Derby! We all cashed some winning tickets that day, so I'd say it was successful! We also spent lots of time just hanging out and visiting. We don't get to see my Dad nearly enough, so it was so nice to have him stay with us for a few days!
The next weekend, we celebrated my sister's college graduation with a party at my Mom's house with family and friends. I am so proud of my little sissy - even though she graduated from UofL! ;)
We also had an overnight visit from my Gram and Dad as they were driving through from Massachusetts to move my Grandma to Arizona! We had a nice (but short) visit with them, but we plan to make a trip out to see them in sunny Arizona sometime this winter to escape the cold temperatures!
Last, but certainly not least, Kyle and I went on our European vacation May 20th - 31st. We had an amazing time exploring London, Paris, Venice, Florence and Rome. I will do a re-cap of our vacation soon, as it definitely deserves it's own post!
June:
The month of June was pretty crazy for me, as I was traveling pretty much every week for work. We did manage to squeeze in some fun on the weekends though, and had our first adventures out on the boat. Kyle's parents bought a new pontoon boat, and we have had so much fun this summer out on the lake! This picture was from one of our first times out on the boat with our niece Hadley - I love how happy she is in this picture!

We also celebrated my Mom and Rick both turning the big 5-0, as well as their anniversary! They had a party at their house with family and close friends. I don't have any pictures from the party, but here's a picture of the old folks lookin' good!
July:
So far, July has been just as busy. We attended a couple of showers for some good friends that are getting married this fall, grilled out on several different occasions with friends and have spent more time on the boat. We also celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary and our 1st house anniversary on July 11th!
On July 4th, we had our friends Brittney, Chris and sweet baby Madeline over! We cooked kabobs on the grill and just enjoyed hanging out.
Our Saturdays have pretty much consisted of going out on the boat with friends! It's nice to cool off in the water, and we've even done a little tubing! We are so grateful to Kyle's parents for letting us go out on the boat on the weekends!

So happy that my tubing picture is of me actually on top of the tube...and not under the tube, trying to climb in the tube, faceplanting, etc!! What a fun summer you all have had!
