Because they are in Louisville tonight performing, and also because I forgot to include this on my summer re-cap below, today's post is all about my weekend getaway for the NKOTBSB concert in Chicago last month!  When the concert dates were first announced, they weren't coming anywhere near Louisville. SO - some of my lovely work friends and I decided that we should make it a girls weekend and road-trip it to Chicago for their show. A couple of weeks later, we found out they were coming to Louisville, but we decided to go ahead with our plans in the windy city anyway for some added girl time!

We left for Chicago Friday afternoon, and had fun exploring Chicago Friday night and Saturday during the day. We ate at great restaurants, did a little partying, shopped on Michigan avenue, took a boat tour of the city and grabbed some infamous Garrett's popcorn (if you are ever in Chicago, RUN to this place and get the Chicago mix - it's heavenly).

The concert was Saturday night, and we had an AMAZING time re-living our teenage years, screaming like school girls and singing along with our boy band crushes. Yes - we were THOSE late 20-something year old girls acting crazy! We had t-shirts made, and were absolutely convinced that they would see us in the crowd and ask us to come hang out backstage. Did that happen? Sadly, no. But, I had so much fun with my ladies!
