He has been holding on to our fingers and walking around for months. We literally thought he might walk before he crawled, but then he finally got the hang of crawling and has been zooming around on his knees ever since. He still liked to hold on to our fingers to walk around, but as soon as we tried to let go to see if he could keep going on his own, he would fall to the ground and start crying. Recently, he's been cruising around furniture, taking tiny little steps without even realizing it.
On Saturday, after a little bit of hesitation, he finally started going after his Little Tikes car without holding on to anything - he loves that thing! But that was short-lived, and he didn't walk anymore the rest of the night. We re-visited the whole walking thing on Sunday (March 25th), and he was going to town walking off and on all day long! I think it's safe to say he is officially a walker! Right now he is teetering around like a little drunk man, refining his balancing skills and gaining some confidence. I know it's only a matter of time before he will be running circles around us. Watch out world, here comes Hudson!
