Easter weekend was busy, as most holidays are! The weather was beautiful, so we tried to get outside as much as possible! We got in some good quality friend and family time!
After a good nap on Saturday, we met up with Brittney and Maddie at the park. It was nice to enjoy the sunshine and let the kiddos play.
| Clinging to Dada and surveying the park - there were so many kids there! |
Checking things out on his own - with the comfort of his blankie of course :)
They have a great little kids area with a nice cushioned ground. |
| He loved the slide - he would let go and slide down on his own... |
| ...And then want to climb back up! |
| Not a fan of the swing at first |
| But then he warmed up! |
| He liked to watch Maddie! |
| Just hanging out |
| He was a little more comfortable in this swing - doing his funny scrunch face! |
| Chillin |
We went to church Saturday night with Nonna, Poppy, YaYa and Papa Rick. We took Hudson into the service with us, and he did really well - up until the sermon. He was happy, just being a noisy, talkative little man. What a wonderful service it was, and a nice reminder of the true reason for the Easter holiday.
| Family photo at church. Hudson likes to smile at all times - except when the camera comes out! |
Sunday morning we woke up, and the Easter Bunny had come for Hudson!
Hudson is all set for summer with swimming trunks (2 pair), a beach towel and some balls.
There is also a popsicle holder in there somewhere - you gotta have popsicles in the summer :) |
Hudson went straight for the soccer ball first - Kyle was so proud!
He then had to have the bunny, his little duck and the soccer ball with him on his car ride. |
We went to Nonna and Poppy's for Easter lunch with the Fertig family. We got there a little early to get Hudson down for a nap before the festivities, but he wasn't having it. There was too much going on!
| The Easter bunny came to Nonna and Poppy's too. That bunny is so generous! |
| Love this sweet photo of Hudson and Hadley |
| Trying to put bunny ears on Hudson - he wasn't having it |
| Cousin picture! It's so hard to get a good pic of all of them! |
| Nonna and her grandbabies! |
| Playing with MawMaw, Aunt Cassie and Mila |
| Sweet Mila is getting so big! |
Next up was YaYa and Papa Rick's for Easter dinner with my family.
| Our little family |
| Uncle Shane and Auntie Erika |
| Auntie E showing Hudson how to put his eggs in the basket |
| He learned quickly! |
| Finding treats in his eggs - yogurt drops! |
| Oh Yeah! Loving this! |
| He's a pro now! |
| Think she likes him much? :) Thanks YaYa for having an egg hunt for me! |
| Mama and Hudson. Water needed after the vigorous egg hunt :) |
| Still munching on his egg treats! |
Here's a cute little video of Hudson at dinner - he was a talkative little man!
He even learned how to say Erika - "Ay-ka"!
Finally we headed home after a long day (with NO nap) and got little man in bed. Exhausting, but so much fun!
I love the picture of Hudson eating yogurt drops in the yard!! But, where is my family photo with Kyle? Too much to explain for the blog?
ReplyDeleteha- those were on the big camera. I pretty much only work off of the iphone pics these days! Otherwise I'd have to go on another blogging hiatus!
