It's a...

We had our ultrasound last Wednesday, November 23rd and it was confirmed that our little one is indeed a boy! We got a DVD of the ultrasound, so once I figure it out, I will load it on here so everyone can see him moving around. He wasn't quite as active this time, and was being a little stubborn about showing his goods, but the ultrasound tech pressed on my belly and got him to move around a little. It's so amazing how you can see his little face, body, arms and legs so clearly! He even stuck up his pointer finger and gave us the "UK is #1" sign during the ultrasound ;) She said that everything looked great, and he seems to be a healthy, growing boy!

After our appointment, we met up with my Mama, Rick, Sissy and Kyle's Mom and Dad at Panera in the mall to share the news with them. We gave them each a card that had little duckies on the front with pinks, blues, greens and yellows and then wrote on the inside of the card "It's a BOY"! We had them open it up at the same time for the big reveal. They were all very excited!

Once we finished eating lunch, and texting everyone else the news, YaYa (my Mama) and Nonna (Kyle's Mom) took us shopping to buy some of baby boy's first clothes! Thank you so much for spoiling baby boy already!

Kyle and I picked up a few things for baby boy that day as well, and then again on Black Friday and Sunday when we went to the outlets with Brittney and Chris. There are also a couple of things in this pile that Brittney and Chris gifted to us - thanks friends! We bought mostly things for when he is a little bigger, although we did get a few sleepers for when he's teeny tiny. Kyle thought that since we were having a boy, I might not buy as many clothes - but he's obviously very wrong! :) There are some really cute boys clothes out there, and our little one will definitely be in style! Kyle actually picked out several of the outfits below - he is definitely a proud papa, and so excited to be having a little boy! We got some great deals - we even found a Halloween costume for next year for $10, so we couldn't pass it up.

Thank you so much to all of our other family and friends who sent congratulations and well wishes over the phone, in person, through texts and on Facebook. It's so great to have you share in our excitement, and we know baby boy will be so loved by all of you!
